PERSONAL TRAINING

Facility 0-3 (Facility 0 to 3) was a persistent idea born out of an unofficial ‘3-plate standard’ in measuring strength.

Hitting three 20kg (44lbs) plates per side in squats, deadlifts, and bench is seen as a major milestone of strength, and many new beginners to fitness cannot imagine themselves carrying that much weight. 

We offer a wide range of services including strength training for intermediate lifters who are just shy of hitting that benchmark, to form correction and body awareness for novice lifters, to mobility exercises and weight loss plans, to building customised training plans for people recovering from injuries or those new to exercise.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Individual and small group sessions that are designed to work every major muscle group, the ultimate investment in your health. You'll be working directly with your coach in our private studio, following your bespoke plan to ensure you achieve your fitness goals.

 

PHYSICAL HEALTH

Whether you’re suffering from chronic condition or just looking to achieve peak performance, take the guesswork out of getting in the best shape of your life. You'll be working closely with your Personal Trainer where you'll get workouts designed specifically for you, progress monitored, regular check-ins and nutrition support for unrivalled results.

NUTRITION

Exercise is only one facet of a healthy lifestyle. We'll teach you how to take control of your health and weight, without relying on any specific diet or products. Working to build a sustainable approach together, so you'll not only hit your physique goals, but be able to stay there without rigid diets or unrealistic restrictions.

Vern is immensely knowledgeable in both men's and women's fitness - Which a few trainers tend to lack. He understands the importance of variation between male and female workouts and made sure that I understood the mechanics of each movement per exercise.

In two sessions, we managed to correct my dead lift form and how to maximise the benefits/utilisation of my squats. Vern has also taught me heaps about the importance of muscle mobility and strength accumulation from a holistic approach.

For me, going to gym and doing the same thing over and over does get boring because I'm doing the same accessory exercises. However, Vern is a walking Wikipedia of accessory exercises which keeps your body and motivation engaged at the gym - None of that bro science fitness stuff.
